ParticipantMaybe I’m missing something, but is it possible to display the category selector drop-down when using the profile display mode within Excerpt Plus?

Yes, it is possible. In fact, the category select should show no matter which display mode you choose.
Can you share the link to your directory page so I can take a look?>

This is because the active template is still the default template. Go to the Connections : Templates admin page and activate the Excerpt Plus template. Hope that helps, please let me know.

ParticipantThat worked, Steven. Thanks! One more question. I don’t want to show the bio info, just the person’s title, phone # and email. Is this possible? I set the “enable_bio_head to “false” and the show_phone_numbers and show_email to “true,” yet I’m seeing the bio info and not seeing phone and email.

Can you copy/paste the exact shortcode that you are using here as a reply?

ParticipantAny suggestions as to what I’m doing wrong with the shortcode?

Ok, taking a second look at this and re-reading your question I better understand what you’re asking.
The bio excerpt should be disabled if the bio is disabled. That is a big which I just now fixed. I’ll email you the fixed version right away.
Displaying the phone, email and such is not supported on the excerpt view of the template. At this point there is no way to change this without it breaking compatibility. That said, version 3, this will be possible due to the way the Template Customizer works, it can save settings individually for both the card view (excerpt) and the profile view. I added this to my feature request list for the template so I do not forget when I rewrite the template.
