unfiortunately I cannot update any existing entry. By trying to do that I receive the following error messages. I@ve had this error message since I buoght the plugin many months ago. Never worked, not even on a clean wordpress install.
Tried all available PHP versions from 5.2 to 7, but no luck.
Tried different themes, no luck either. Tried wthout any other installed plugins, no luck.
Any idea on how to continue?

It seems the Connections user meta for your user account has somehow been corrupted. But a couple things do not make sense. ON a clean WP install, there would be no Connections user meta to become corrupt. When you say “clean install” you also mean a clean db too, correct? Even still there are checks to ensure the when saving a message that it is an array. That said, looking at the code, those checks could be more robust so I made those changes which should make it impossible for these error to occur.
If you’d like me to apply the changes to your site in order to ensure that they work as expected I’ll need your login which can be posted here as a private reply.08/04/2016 at 7:10 am #385469DavidGuestThis reply has been marked as private.08/04/2016 at 11:03 am #385511Steven ZahmKeymaster
Yes, it was just your user accounts Connections user meta that was corrupt. My temp account worked just fine, no errors. I was able to verify it was your account by using the User Switching plugin (installed and then deleted).
I edited Connections with the updated file to make the checks more robust against corruptions and that seems to have done the trick. You account can not properly add/edit entries without errors.
This change is already in the next update for Connections so you will be able to update safely.
Apologies for the trouble!
