ParticipantI installed the plugin and the cmap, and it works correctly, except when I have to upload an image or logo, when I get this message: ERROR: Can not create and / or save the thumbnail image in the destination folder.
I’ve checked the permissions, I’ve disabled the pluguin, I’ve done everything, and there’s no way it works!
The web is blog.adede.org
Can you help me?
thanks

It seems the following folder is not writable by Connections and it needs to be:
../wp-content/connection_imageLogin with FTP and check to make sure the permissions are 755.
If that does not work, try 767.05/09/2013 at 3:15 am #259340cintash
GuestWe have tried it with …/connection_images and …/connection_image. We have put permissions 755, 767 and 777, but it doesn’t work.
It says: ERROR: Could not save the image loaded in the destination folder.
What else can we do?
Thanks a lot for your help!

If there is a .htaccess file in the folder, try deleting it. If that doesn’t work, try putting a blank index.html and blank index.php files in the folder.

GuestI followed your instructions and still not working. Now I get this error: ERROR: Can not create and / or save the thumbnail image in the destination folder.
Blank index files, the had to put in the folder connection_images?
Thanks

You didn’t change the name of the folder at all did you?
Unfortunately you might have to seek help from the webhost. They must have something setup that makes writing to folders more strict and hopefully they could point us in the direction to solve this issue.
