GuestHi,
I installed Connections plugin Version 8.5.32 on WP 4.7.2 and Instant Worpress 4.5, but I received an error message, when I try to add an entry.
Thank you in advance for your help.

This primarily occurs when the database structure is not correct. I can review this. Please navigate to the Connections : Tools admin page and click the System Info tab. Scroll to the bottom and generate a private Remote Viewing URL. Reply back with that secret URL. Make sure to make the reply private before submitting.
I’ll review it when I receive the link.

The issue is that none of the tables required for Connections to function exist. Please try deactivating and re-activating Connections. Does that fix it?

GuestDear Steven,
I thank you very much for your support.
I deactivated and activated several time Connections plugin, but the error message is still the same.
If I try to Add categories
ERROR: Could not insert term into the database
If I try to Add entry
ERROR: Entry could not be added.
Is the problem coming from the fact that I am working in local with the software Instant WP ?
Thank you in advance for your reply.

I suppose, I am not familiar with the product. All I can say for sure is that the Connections tables do not exist and are not being created as they should be. Since this is a local install, does the database user have permissions to create tables? If the user you setup does not, then the tables will not be allowed to be created.

GuestSteven,
Thank you for your reply.
You are right, I did not create the tables.
Thank you again.

GuestDear Steven,
I would like also to inform you that it is possible to create, import database with PhpmyAdmin, which is enclosed with the software Instant WordPress.
if you send me an exemple database, I may try to import the database in Instant WordPress.
What do you think of my idea ?
Thank you in advance for your reply.

The tables should be created for you when you activate Connections. What you need to do is make sure the database user that Instant WordPress created for the database has create and alter table capabilities. You’ll have to refer to Instant WordPress support to learn how since I am not familiar with the product. I’m a bit surprised that the database user create would not be created with those capabilities from the beginning as many plugins needs custom tables to operate correctly.
If the database user created by Instant WordPress does have create/alter table capabilities, then find out where Instant WordPress saves its PHP error log, maybe something in there will reveal why the tables are not being created.
As for the sample db, that could work, but I have none to give. Its probably better to learn why Instant WordPress is not creating tables.
