Hi, Steven! We’re building a member directory on a new site (romancetravelspecialists.com/findaspecialist) using Excerpt Plus .. I’ve also installed several of your plugins, particularly Link, so that our members can sign into this site (as users – subscribers) and use the “Add Your Directory Entry” links in their WP profiles to create their own entries …
This setup worked great for a few weeks, and we collected about 50 entries … then, in the past few days, members have reported that they’re getting an error message that says “ERROR: Entry could not be added.” when they’ve filled out the form and clicked “Update” … this morning, I created a “sampleuser” username and tried to fill out the form myself, and I’m getting the same error message …
To my knowledge, we haven’t changed anything about the site that would have caused this to occur – have you seen this happen, and do you know what might be causing it?

If you updated to WordPress 4.4, you need to update to Connections 8.5.7 otherwise you will not be able to add/edit entries. This is due to a change that WordPress made when inserting/updating data into the database.12/22/2015 at 11:58 am #358944John HawksParticipant

We use a lot of WP themes and plugins across a ton of sites that we maintain, and I must say – your stuff works 24/7/365 without hiccups, and the support you offer is absolutely incredible!
I’ve already posted a 5-star WP review about your programs … I wish you’d also set up a “tip jar” on your site for clients like us who really appreciate the hard work that must go into providing the customer service that you do …

I actually use to have a donate page a while back. Interestingly, it received the fewest pages visits on the site and yielded one, maybe two donations so I took it down . But that was mostly do to to concern on the possible negative image it might cast since I am also trying to sell items. Maybe bringing back as a tip jar would be alright. I’ll have to give it some thought. Thanks for the idea.
