GuestHi,
I am developing a number of websites for affiliated campus buildings and am needing the same directory to be available across all of them. Rather than outputting databases and going to the trouble to update them all everytime a new employee comes on board, I would like to be able to embed or somehow display the same directory across all of these different sites.
Is this possible?

Are all the sites part of a single multi-site install of WordPress? If it is then yes. Connections can be configured to use the same db data in all subsites. But since you seem to already have data, it is a little bit more difficult to change this.
If there are not part of the same multi-site install, then no. The best I can think of is maybe try to use iframes.
Hope that helps, let me know!

ParticipantHi Again Steven,
Kenneth here with renewed hope after hearing your above answer! I just did the research on wordpress multi-site install. I am configuring it all now. Since my base site is the only one that has gone live yet, I feel I may be a candidate to get this solution working. How can I connect the db data in all subsites for this connections purpose?
Thanks!

Add to wp-config.php:
define('CN_MULTISITE_ENABLED', FALSE);Install Connections on the main site.
Activate Connections on the main site.
Now, activate Connections on each subsite that you want to use it on.
Do not network activate Connections, that will not work.
Hope that helps, let me know.
