ParticipantThe “Submission Notice to” under Email Notifications did not work. That is, the “submission notice to” email did not come to me as the administrator even though my email address is correct and in “Submission Notice to” box.
I didn’t receive an email notifying me that there was a directory submission. When I log in and go to manage I can see the submission, but no email was received to notify me.
Is there a remedy?

If you were testing while logged in, please logged out and test. You will not receive an email while logged in.

ParticipantCreated an entry last night. Logged out last night. No email this morning. I will try again with a gmail account rather than comcast email account. Hopefully, that will do it.

Can you use this plugin to check if WordPress is properly sending email.

ParticipantHello Steve,
I tried both my comcast account and gmail account. I received the following email.
This test email proves that your WordPress installation at http://eastbaywomensnetwork.com can send emails.

Well now, that’s odd because that plugin and Form send email the exact same way. The only real difference is that I allow you to configure the from name and email address.
Can I have a temp admin account so I can take a closer look.

Ok, I see the issue, which is not an issue. You have a membership site which requires a login to access Form. Those members also have the capability to “Add Entries”. Because they are logged in with the capability to add an entry, no emails will be sent. If the capability was set to “Add Entry Moderated” then an email would be sent. Now with that said, a confirmation email should still be sent to the member submitting the entry, but only if they added an email address to the Form.
The idea with Form it to allow the “public” to submit entries to your directory. “Public” meaning, in your case, non-members. Obviously, this is not what you’re trying to achieve which is why you have Link installed.
The idea with Link it to allow your members to add and maintain their directory entry. In the future Link will integrate with Form to allow front end maintenance, but I can not commit as to when because there is still much work to do.
I’m going to mark this issue resolved … lets continue over in your Link support ticket.

It seems to be working fine… what I did.
Created a new Entry for myself in Connections. The only real difference is that I set me as private for testing purposes.
Create a new user.
Set my membership to active.
Logged into the site in a private browsing session [to simulate logging as a user].
Click the Edit My Directory Entry link from the admin bar and the details I entered were there as they should be.
To repeat the test. I deleted the test user and then deleted the my test entry in Connections and repeated the steps above. Again, it worked.
Now, I see that none of the entries in Connections are linked to any user account. Which users did you try to login as and which entries are they to be linked to?
