GuestHi,
I am using Connections to build a private contact list for a community organisation and, as a result, cannot send you any links, but I am struggling to format the email addresses usefully for us.Many of the members of our c=group are children and as a result we need to have contact details for their parents under their individual entries. This works well for the phone numbers when we format the entry “Name – 0123 456 678”, but when we try the same for email addresses it makes the entry difficult to use because the email address cannot be selected with the cursor, and clicking on the address to open the link in the email app results in the address field being filled with an unusable address. I have tried formatting the entry in a few different ways, including using brackets and also putting the name in quotation marks and the email address in triangular brackets, but I cannot find a way around this.
What do you suggest?
Thank you in advance for your help and thank you for writing such a great plugin!
Kind regards,

I’ve thought about this and I can really only think of two solutions…
Put the info in the bio or notes fields. Or, create a custom template which does not make the email links clickable. I do like the latter because I do plan on checking for ensure email addresses are valid before allowing them to be submitted.
Not sure if that helps, but hope it does.
