Hi, We’d like users to be able to edit their profiles after they are made approved/public. Now, once approved, the edit profile screen is empty?
@ Reed
Link has gone thru several updates since you’ve purchased the Pro Pack. I highly suggest updating it to the latest version. You can download it from your purchase history.
I’m sure that will resolve any issues you might have with the entry in Connections being linked to their user account. Please let me know if it does not.
@ Reed
Well, I’m assuming this question is in regards to Link, so you want to click the downloads tab and then click the download link for Link.
@ Reed
Please, respond back in the forum, not the auto reply emails … I don’t general pay them much mind and, usually, I just have them automatically filter so I never see them.
What exactly do you need help with in the setup?
If you grant me a temp admin account, I can take a look. Post the login details here as a private reply.
Thanks.
@ Reed
Updating Link to the latest version resolved the issue. While I was at it, I re-enable a bit of code that I use for testing which will link a user simply by visiting the edit my directory admin page, not requiring the user to logout and back in.
Hope that helps getting your directory going!
@ Reed
Off topic question, who is your web host and which service package do you use?
@ Reed
I only ask because I was surprised at how snappy the site was. I’d like to look into it for myself.
Hi Steven,
We are still having the issue.
If you go in as a new registrant and create a profile all is good. If you go in again to edit the profile all is not good as it pulls a blank profile.
“Connections : Add My Directory Entry” as if it does not recognize user already having profile, previous entries don’t show?
