ParticipantHi Steven
When a member (Subscriber) logs into the Connections login page (example:https://www.wbgconnects.com/member-log-in/)and has the options to:
Logout
View My Directory Entry
Edit My Directory EntryLogout works
View My Directory Entry works – links to: https://www.wbgconnects.com/member-directory-new/name/christine-stewart/
Edit My Directory Entry stays on the same page:
https://www.wbgconnects.com/member-log-in/name/christine-stewart/ vs going to:
https://www.wbgconnects.com/member-directory-new/name/christine-stewart/edit/Entry Actions is enabled for “Edit Entry” in Display settings – Roles & Capacities for Subscriber is checked for Edit Entry
If member views directory listing and clicks Edit My Directory Entry from the listing page, she does get the edit page: https://www.wbgconnects.com/member-directory-new/name/christine-stewart/edit/
I am not sure why the Edit link isn’t working on the Login page.
Thanks!06/13/2016 at 10:43 am #379304Steven Zahm

I see you do have the latest version of Form installed which is great. What I can not see is which version of Link you have installed. Can you confirm? The latest version is 3.0.1.
Also, can you confirm which page you have set to the directory home page?

Ok, I found the issue and applied a hotfix to your site, the links should resolve correctly now. This fix will be in the next update to Link so you willl be able to safely update when it is released.
Apologies for the trouble!
ps. Using the widget the way you are with widget in page shortcode plugin. I recommend using the supported shortcodes instead. I added them to the page so you can see them.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantFantastic! Thanks so much Steve!
I see the shortcodes but for using on the Member Login Page http://www.wbgconnects.com/member-log-in they don’t work unless the member is already signed in.
The only way I could figure out how to put the log in for Connections on a page vs the sidebar would be to use the addw2p – add widgets to pages plugin.
If you can steer me in a better direction that would be great.
Thanks again – really appreciate your help!

re: If you can steer me in a better direction that would be great.
You could use the [connections_login] shortcode in order to display the login form.
Hope that helps!
