GuestUsing version 8.6.6 I created Individual entries that include Birthdays and Anniversary dates. After creating the entry, Connections automatically generates an additional Birthday and Anniversary date only one day earlier, as in the following example:
Birthday entered: 8/28/1955
Birthday generated: 8/27/1955
Anniversary entered: 9/23/1995
Anniversary generated: 9/22/1995I open the now erroneous entry, delete the two erroneous additional dates and receive confirmation that the update completed successfully. However, if I go to a directory listing on my site, it shows the 2 additional dates…so, the update really didn’t occur of the system generated the extra dates after the transaction completed.
If I go into a record with 2 erroneous dates and update another field (but do NOT take out the 2 additional dates), that record would then have 4 erroneous dates. Connections generates another Birthday and Anniversary date with the day field again decremented by 1, as in the following example.
Birthday entered: 8/28/1955
Birthday generated: 8/27/1955
Birthday generated: 9/26/1955
Anniversary entered: 9/23/1995
Anniversary generated: 9/22/1995
Anniversary generated: 9/21/1955What is causing this bug and what is the fix? Thank you!

GuestI have some typos in the above bug report:
1) “However, if I go to a directory listing on my site, it shows the 2 additional dates…so, the update really didn’t occur of the system generated the extra dates after the transaction completed.”
Should read: “However, if I go to a directory listing on my site, it shows the 2 additional dates…so, the update really didn’t occur**, or** the system generated the extra dates after the transaction completed.
2) The second example should show the following Birthdays:
Birthday entered: 8/28/1955
Birthday generated: 8/27/1955
Birthday generated: 8/26/195506/07/2017 at 10:21 am #425368Steven Zahm

I have a hotfix I can apply that seems to have fixed the issue with two others who have experienced this issue. If you can send me a temp WP admin login, posted here as a private reply I can do this asap.

Here’s the link to the change:

I suspect the the core WP function I was using was changed which is why a very small handful of users are now experiencing this issue. The two others that I implemented this change on their site, it resolve the issue.
Good luck! Hope it helps!
