ParticipantThe dropdown menu for the main directory does not work, nor does the search feature. When I click to toggle between categories, whatever category is on the page remains. Also, if I search for a particular person, it says that no match was found.
I suspect that when I migrated the site from a dev to live, that a link somehow got broken.
Is there a way to just remove the dropdown menu? I have two buttons that navigate between the two categories and I am happy with just that. I don’t need the search function or the dropdown menu, provided that I have the two links.
Here is the website: http://empower.syr.edu/directory/
And, here is the shortcode that our designer used:
[connections enable_category_select='TRUE' show_empty_categories='TRUE' image_width=150 image_single_width=375 enable_map='FALSE']The designer is no longer on contract, so I would like to resolve this myself.
Thanks!

The most like cause is because you should not use the category drop down together with the category permalinks. Disabling the drop down or the category permalinks would be the solution.

Yes, use this shortcode:
[connections enable_category_select='FALSE' show_empty_categories='TRUE' image_width=150 image_single_width=375 enable_map='FALSE']
When you copy/paste, make sure to do it in the Text tab of the post editor.
Hope that helps! Let me know.

ParticipantHi Steven, thanks for your quick response. The shortcode worked perfectly! I am all set.
