ParticipantHi there
As you can see from my directory here (http://www.flutetutor.com.au/tuition-directory/find-a-teacher/) users can search by state to find someone in the directory however now that the directory is growing we are receiving feedback that it would be good to have a second selection for area so for example, if you chose ‘NSW’ (a state) from the dropdown menu rather than then having to search through 3 pages to see if one of the teachers is in a convenient suburb (New South Wales covers hundreds of kilometers) it would be good to have a second option appear to select from a sub category of areas within the state.
I really hope this makes sense. If there is an add on or something I can buy to help this happen I would happily buy it as it is the one thing that is stopping my directory being good enough to have people pay to be part of it.
As it stands users find it difficult to search in and as a result I can not ask those with listings to pay to be part of it.
I look forward to hearing from you with some options.
Thanks and Regards
Rosalie

If I understand correctly, what you really need is a region and locality search … in US terms state and city … in AU, my guess is province and city, right?
I have a dev that I can recommend that can whip that up for you … I’ll ask him to drop by this forum post.
