    The error is that you have HTML in the shortcode. Likely inserted from a copy/paste from a web page into the post editor.

    This should be correct:

    [connections category='8' page_limit=10 pagination_position='after'  show_category_count=TRUE show_contact_name=FALSE str_select='Showcase Filter' enable_category_by_root_parent=true image='logo' str_work_phone='Phone' str_work_addr='' show_title=TRUE enable_bio_head=FALSE enable_note=FALSE str_select_all='' show_email=FALSE show_addresses=FALSE show_phone_numbers=FALSE]

    Are there any entries in category 8? Is category 8 a root parent category? Are the entries public?

    face-palm … sorry, I completely missed what you were saying.

    Let me try again…

    I looked at the code for the template, it appears there is a bug with hiding the contact name. I’ll fix it and have an update ready for download by 10p EST.

    Sorry that I just wasn’t getting it!

    Thanks Steven, that would be great. I think Connections is great. I worked out how to use the categories to create different lists from the same data, really nice

    I have a few ideas for extensions that could be a real earner for you with commercial directory owners. I’ll send via appropriate forum
