ParticipantHello Steve,
I was wondering whether you might have / be planning modules for Premium Payment Plans (PPPs whether using the usual Free, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum scheme or a bespoke one).
Naturally, creating the entries myself could become a full-time job, so it makes sense to let the user do it themselves.
Form would seem the right module for the online entry submission, do you have or plan – modules that integrate with Form to:
- Allow users to select membership level from a drop-down list
- Accept payment by card by PayPa / WorldPay for PPPs
- Automatically set the number of entries allowed by the Plan
- Prevent new entries being created, once the user has reached his/her quota
- Allow users to maintain their own entries
I am sure you are asked this all the time, but I couldn’t begin to fathom how the question might have been formulated. Searching for the term “Payments”did not return any threads on the Connections Fora.
Alternatively, do you know of any plugins that would integrate with Form and Connections without conflicts?
Many thanks for your kind attention.
Best Regards.
Toni

Keymaster@ antonella
For payments, I always suggest using a membership plugin like Restrict Content Pro. They specialize in managing membership payments/levels/renewals and such. I do not plan on adding such functionality to Connections because it is far better for you to be a to better monetize your site with the many options available using a membership plugin vs. being locked into just using a directory listing as a membership perk.
So you could use Form and Link but only access given when with a valid membership. There is no specific integration with Connections and a membership plugin. You would just “lock” the pages to members only.
Now, they is no way in Connections to give the user the ability to have more than one entry. It is one user to one entry.
Hope that answers your question thoroughly!
