I’ve been using Connections for many years and it’s a GREAT plugin! But, after the last update last week . . . poof! It’s no longer there! The connections folder (using FZ) appears in the plugins directory listing on the server but NOT in the plugins directory in WP. So, what can I do to recover Connections and the over 500 entries in it???? I sure hope that the database is still there somewhere.
Sounds like WP failed to apply the update properly. It’s rare but does happen. Using FileZilla, delete the
connections folder in the
../wp-content/plugins/ folder. Then install Connections again. All settings and entries including their images are safe and will be available after you reinstall Connections.
Hope this helps, let me know.
GREAT! The whole thing is back and running again!
I gotta tell you I only started breathing again AFTER I reinstalled Connections and saw it working again.
Great to hear!
