I know I must be missing something, there’s got to be some way to display the categories an entry is in in the display record. For example the home inspector may work in Alameda and Solano counties. Those are categories. When I display a directory list I need to show what all the categories are that are associated with that record.
Also, is there a way when selecting from the category list on the page or from the widget the selected category shows up somewhere displayed so you know the list is filtered for that category? For example http://www.ggashi.com/directory-random/cat/counties/alameda/ filters for Alameda county category, but you have no way of knowing that from looking at the page.
Here’s a snippet that you can add to your template to show the categories:
getCategoryBlock( array( 'separator' => ', ', 'before' => '', 'after' => '' ) ); ?> There's nothing built-in at the moment to show the current category. It is on my to do list for features to add. I hope that helps.
