Hey Steve and everyone else,
So I’m using Connections as a church directory, and I’ve set up “Children” as a custom field since I don’t want to use the Family organization.
I also have a text opt out custom field I’m using for something else.
My issue is that I want to display the Children custom field if there is one, but not the text opt out one. I know how to display all custom fields, but I can’t figure out how to display only one specifically.
I suppose I could write some JS that will hide the option that’s not Children, but I’d really like to do it programatically inside the template.
Any guidance there on how I could accomplish that?
Thanks in advance!
You should be able to use one of the following snippets.
Use this one if you entered each child as a new row in the custom fields:
getMetaBlock( array( ‘key’ => ‘Children’ ) ); ?>
Use this one if you entered all children within a single custom field row.
getMetaBlock( array( ‘key’ => ‘Children’, ‘single’ => TRUE ) ); ?>
I believe that should do it. Let me know.
