First, let me say that I love Gridder! It’s awesome.
Is there a way to have checkmarks by categories and then select or unselect the ones you want to display – that way you can display multiple categories at once. I’m creating expertise categories for faculty and was hoping if someone wanted to display a faculty member with expertise in “volcanology” and “seismology” that they could display one or the other or both without creating a third category that’s volcanology and seismology.
This isn’t my website, but a designer at the university coded it. It wouldn’t necessarily work for my college’s multisite that is on a different server. Plus, I really like Connections hierarchal format.
I see you have Gridder… enable category search and add
enable_category_multi_select=true to the existing
[connections] shortcode. It will not be checkboxes, but it will allow your users to choose more than one category to filter the results by.
Hope this helps, let me know.
