ParticipantHey Steven…
Is there a way to display a list of newest(latest) listings? I’m using cmap.

ParticipantHey Steven…after fiddling around with this a bit here’s what I came up with:
[connections template='cmap' order_by='date_added|SORT_DESC' width='610' enable_search='false' enable_category_select='false' limit='2' enable_pagination='false' enable_bio='false' enable_note_head='false' str_note_show='View About Info' str_note_hide='Close' phone_types='workphone' str_work_phone='Telephone' email_types='work' str_work_email='Email' email_format='%icon%' address_types='work' str_work_addr='Location' enable_map='false']
The issue I had was if I used [enable_pagination=’false’ page_limit=’2′] the page would go into a half-assed infinite loading cycle.
I then decided to try [limit=’2′ enable_pagination=’false’]
Perhaps I missed it, but I did not see [limit=’2′] in the functions…but it does work.
Here is the result: http://www.collectorsbluebook.com/featured-listings/
I’m linking to this page from our weekly new listing update newsletter.

The
limitoption is a “core” shortcode option that will work regardless of template being used. Seems like I never added that to the docs, I’ll have to address that. The
page_limitoption is only supported by template which have pagination and when pagination is enabled which is why you needed to use thelimitoption.Hope that helps!
