ParticipantPlease consider a ‘switch’ so that “Edit Entry” is presented only when the email matches so that each user see it for his own entry and not for every other directory entry.
Thanks

This is how it already works. If your users are seeing the link to entries to which they are not linked to, then the user role capabilities are not likely set up correctly. Note, that you as an admin will always see the link because you have the permissions to edit all entries.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantOk. Thanks. I did not release to users yet. I am using a test ID with user role so the admin privileges does not apply when I am testing. The test user can see ‘edit entry’ on every entry but can only see the form on his own. On the others a permissions message is returned.

Ok, perhaps there is a bug … I did squash one yesterday in both both Form and Link which resulted in the view/edit links being displayed when they should not have been. I do not think these bugs are causing the issue for you though. If you can give me both a temp admin account and the test user login, I’ll take a look and debug. The login details can be posted here as a private reply. I’ll hold off on releasing updates for these two extension until I get to look at your site.

Ok, I did find and fix a bug. Take a look to see if everything seems right from your perspective.
I also made a tweak to the one code snippet I gave you, the back/cancel link when editing an entry. I believe that it is more inline with what you really wanted it to do. Let me know.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantYour update to the code snippet produced a result that is better than I had requested. It is more logical. Thank you. The bug fix also addressed the “Edit Entry” issue. I appreciate all your work and attention. I am now ready to release.

Great to hear! Hopefully sometime next week I’ll release the updates to Form and Link which contain these fixes. You’ll be able to safely update because the updates will only be of the changes I’ve already applied to your site.
If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
