    HI

    I bought the “Excerpt Plus” trying to get a listing like this :

    http://72.52.217.199/members/

    Show the contact details before the excerpt and get a different page when clicking on the name or “read more”…

    I just don’t know how to do these 2 things… can you please give me a hint ?

    Solved with your instructions : get a different page when clicking on the name or “read more”…
    To enable this feature you must turn on the name linking feature. To do this, go to the Connections : Settings admin page, click the Advanced tab. And under the Links section make sure there is a checkmark beside the name option and save the settings.The Read more will now become a link to the single entry view.

    That other site, the user manually edited the core template file to move the details. To do the same you need to edit this file: card.php found here:
    ../wp-content/plugins/excerpt-plus/

    Move all the code about the the details to above the bio.

    Hi Steven
    I have been trying to find the ../wp-content/plugins/excerpt-plus/ you talk about above, but I can’t find it. I tried to find the file via my ftp program but it doesn’t appear to be there. Any help would be appreciated.

    If you running the very latest version of Excerpt Plus, the path will be:
    ../wp-content/plugins/connections-excerpt-plus/

    Can you find it now?
