ParticipantWe have Connections installed on two websites and I’m having weird issues on both.
**GrandBendTourism.com: **
Added a new business (Big Bass Construction) to the “Services” section of our membership directory, which did publish and display on https://www.grandbendtourism.com/services/directory-of-service-providers/ – however as of today (April 10) for some bizarre reason the “Services” piece of the directory no longer displays on the front end. I’ve included a screenprint of the Admin area of the actual page which has the shortcode and of the resulting published page. When I click over to the browser’s developer tools to Inspector / Console – no code at all is generated to the published page!!! And yet, when I change the category from 65 (Services) to 17 (restaurants), suddenly I get a directory listing generated and published
Have spent several hours going through all of the settings and comparing the shortcode in the Services page to other directory pages (Dine, Stay Overnight) on our website. Only the Services section is affected and that’s the section to which we added a new business member today.
I even downloaded CMAP and Connections and reinstalled – didn’t help.
GrandBendChamber.ca
Each member listing will have a Bio and Map tray. In some instances, where the member has not provided us with information, the Bio Tray does not display for their listing of course.Added the new member (Big Bass Construction) and we have bio data for him, logo and image and completed adding his entry – however on the frontend there is no option to click to reveal his mapped locaton – and his listing is the ONLY one I’ve found that does this. We did enter his full and complete address.
Please help diagnose issues. I am at a loss. We’ve had Connections running on both sites for several years.
Thanks, Susan

ParticipantUPDATE – Went back into the member’s listing on GrandBendChamber.ca and manually geo-coded – resaved – and the map link now shows up on the published page!

RE: Directory of Service Providers
It does seem something is stripping the page content. NOt only is that affecting Connections, it is also removing your icon and bold-italic note you have before the shortcode.
Try this, copy the shortcode only from the services page and past it into a new page. publish that new page? Does that new page show the directory?
RE: Big Bass Construction
I could not figure out which page this entry is displayed on… but my guess is that Connections was not able to geocode the address automatically … well OpenStreetMap was not able. So, without a lat/long, there will not be a map.
When you manually added those, that allowed the map to be created.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes with the directory test.

ParticipantHi Steven
Actually, I had tried on using the shortcode on a new page and got the same results.
Just tried it again – same thing:

I’m still not quite sure how Connections could be the issue because the rest of the page content is missing as well…

When I try to access the admin I get a 403 error. Do you have some restriction in place?
