ParticipantHi all,
New to using connection pro. Actually new to designing website. I want to do our own. So here is my needs and my question is will there be a way to accomplish them.
I run a networking organization. So we want to display or business partners. Our partners belong to a group, those groups have monthly meetings. I want the website drill down to be easy as we are nationwide.
So the million dollar question.
Can I do say; in menu location main button “partners” Sub buttons need to be,
Quick Locate By State First
then the drill down would show all states, then once a state is clicked it would show all groups in that state and when the group is clicked it would show all business partners in that group.
So far it seems connections is customizable. Has anyone done this that could save me hours of searching or paying someone else to.
I’ve attached a screenshot of my menu breakdown. Don’t really focus on the buttons. I want just one quick search which starts by state for now, the show groups in that state, then you click a group, then you see the members in that group

Not sure I entirely understand… but, you could use the permalinks to groups. You would have to disable the category drop down filter and use the enhanced categories addon instead so as not to create conflicts.
Navigate to the Connections Settings admin page and click the Advanced tab. Here you will find the Permalinks section. The only one enabled by default is the Name option. You can enable the others that will be relevant for your needs.
I recommend switching to the cMap template because it’ll make viewing these permalinks easier since the date is displayed by default.
You can copy/paste these permalinks as needed to create menu items / buttons. After you are setup like you want, switch to your desired template.
Hope this helps get you on your way. Let me know if you have any further questions.
