ParticipantDon’t know what I’m doing wrong, but when I import my cvs file, it is not putting the mapped fields in the correct place. For example, my data file field titled “email” I map to the import field “work email” but it is showing in the display under “website”. There are several errors similar to this I am getting. I’ve triple checked that I am matching the fields correctly, but it doesn’t seem to be working right?

I just literately uploaded an update, version 1.0.4, which you can download from your purchase history. I do not believe the update will resolve the problem because it only contains some very minor tweaks and it actually sounds like a bad CSV file. But can you please update and give it a try. Also, can you attach a copy so I can take a look?

ParticipantSteve… I attached a screen shot of my map settings… then a screen shot of one of the imported records. Notice that the phone number is showing in the city field, the email is in the work phone field, the website in in the work email field, and the notes field is showing in the website field?

The issue was the CSV file. The header columns were quoted, I don’t think that would have caused the issue. But, there was no header for a column, which I think might have confused the CSV parser. I’ve attached a corrected CVS file which I confirmed imported correctly … I did change the column headers to the names so they would auto map.
