Hi! I’m a new Connections/Tile Plus user. Love it so far, thank you! A few questions:

1. Is there a way to mask the actual e-mail address on the tile with the word “e-mail”?
2. Is there a way to change the word “Biography” to be something else?
3. Is there a way to increase the size of font on the tile?

Sorry, no, this is not possible. Most of the time when this is asked it is because they want the email to be “secured” or not publically visible. Hiding it behind an email link does nothing to protect the email address. Spam bots can still very easily scrape the email address. To have the email address visible, but protected, check out the ROT13 Email Encryption extension. To keep the email completely private, never visible, checkout the Contact extension.

Yes, first read this FAQ. The options mentioned in the FAQ can be found here.

This can only be done with custom CSS. Add this following to the theme’s custom CSS area (tweak as needed):

#cn-tile-plus .cn-entry {
    font-size: 13px !important;
}

To account for the larger font size, you might need to increase the tile size.

Thank you. I’m sorry, even though I read the FAQs, I do not see a way to change the string for “biographical information”. I successfully changed a few other strings. Can you advise?

Regarding working with the theme’s custom CSS area, which CSS file is it? Thank you!

Where exactly are you trying to change this? You should be able to the str_bio_head option.

Well, there’s no way I can tell you that. Every theme is different. What I can tell you, if your theme has one, most seem to, it’ll be in the theme options. If it does not. Then use the JP Custom CSS plugin.
