ParticipantHi Steven,
ON the directory page I have instructions, “Search through our Clinic Directory to locate a therapist. Each specialty is listed by category.” http://www.njinstitute.org/devsite/clinic-directory/
When they selecton a therapist they go to the therapists profile page. http://www.njinstitute.org/devsite/clinic-directory/name/richard-m-alperin/
This profile has the same instructions at the top as the directory page and it looks confusing to have these instructions repeated. “Search through our Clinic Directory to locate a therapist. Each specialty is listed by category.”
How do I delete the Lead in Sentences at the top on the therapist profile page ONLY?

This requires a little more complex configuration. Here’s a link where I gave the instructions to another user.
Hope this helps, let me know.

ParticipantHi Steven,
Hope you are doing well. I followed your instructions, thank you.
How do I insert the home id into the shortcode? Is this the correct way to write the code?
[home id=”794″ connections category=”25,4,1,3,27,7″ enable_category_by_root_parent=’TRUE’]12/05/2018 at 2:09 pm #478567Steven Zahm

It has to be added like the other two shortcode options, like this:
[connections category='25,4,1,3,27,7' enable_category_by_root_parent=TRUE home id=794]
Hope this helps!

ParticipantThanks. I added the code you kindly shared and saved. I did this to both pages, inserting the ID for each page. Now the directory listings are missing. When I do any kind of search in the directory I receive “No results”. When I go to a member’s profile it is blank.
Suggestions? I would appreciate your guidance.

What are the links to the two pages?
What is the shortcode used on each page? The page which will be displaying the the search results only should only have the shortcode and no other content. The shortcode itself should only have the home_id option, no others and it should be set to the origin page ID.

ParticipantThe Directory page has this shortcode:
[connections category="25,4,1,3,27,7" enable_category_by_root_parent='TRUE' id=416]Link: http://www.njinstitute.org/devsite/directory/
The second page, Member directory has this code:
[connections category="25,4,1,3,27,7" enable_category_by_root_parent='TRUE' id=794]There was a sentence of text on the page, so I just deleted it.
Link: http://www.njinstitute.org/devsite/members-directory/
On the second page, do I change the shortcode to this?
[connections category="25,4,1,3,27,7" id=794]Suggestions?

One of those shortcodes should be only the
[connections]
as mentioned in the previous directions. Whichever page is supposed to display without the lead in should have no content on the page, just the shortcode AND no options.Additionally, you are using the
id
shortcode option instead of thehome_id
shortcode option. These are not interchangeable and explains why you get the no result message.Hope this helps!
