I am using a custom field for VCards in this directory: https://dbates.com/associate-directory
Whenever one of the current people get edited the program is injecting a / before any ” which breaks the link. How can I get it to NOT do that?
I just checked your site and tested adding quotes to a custom field key and it was not being escaped (the forward slash).
Can you tell me where you’re experiencing the issue?
I uploaded an image of the problem. When I initially created all of these vcard links for each person in the directory they worked just fine. When I moved the site to the live hosting account they continue to work until the entry is opened, edited, and saved. It does not need to be the vcard field that is edited either – when editing any of the fields it happens upon saving. If it gets saved more than once there are more than 1 / entered.
Ok, I found the bug when updating entry meta. I’ve fixed, the fix will be in the forthcoming 8.2.2 release.
Thanks for letting me know about the issue!
Thanks so much for fixing this – when can I expect to be able to upgrade and get the fix?
By this weekend.
