ParticipantHi, Steve –
I am doing work for a Homeowner Association and they have some fields in their current database that needs to be added to their new one. You had indicated that custom fields can be included on the form that members use to edit their profiles by using an extension. Do these extensions need to be created by you, or can any WordPress developer create them? If by you, do you have time to create one? If so, how do I get the information to you so you can get a quote to me on that? Thanks

Any WordPress dev should be able to add them. They could reference the free extensions that do this to see how it is done. They’ are all documented pretty well so a dev should be able to follow without too much trouble.

And here’s a link to a demo plugin they can reference to see all the support custom field types:
I could do the work and I have time available in my schedule. Could you please contact me via the contact link at the bottom of the page with the details.
I look forward to hearing from you.

ParticipantHi, Steve –
If there is a way to make the family portion work to add a new family member without having to create a new directory listing, that would solve the first part of my problem. If not, then I need the custom plugin to include additional contacts. Here are the fields that I need to be included:
Designated voter (check box) – this is to tie in to the main contact
Contacts (ability to add multiple family contacts)
name (text)
email (text)
work (text)
home (text)
birthday (text)
interests (text)
contact preference (select from dropdown: email, phone)
Contact Role: (select from dropdown: owner, resident, renter, child, agent, other)
Reside at property (check box)
Designated voter (check box)
add photoPets: (ability to add multiple pets)
pet name
description
add photoEmergency Contacts: (ability to add multiple emergency contacts)
name / number (text)Please let me know if you need additional information.
Thank you! Terri

Sorry, yes I did receive this. I had a few support issues that were time sucks that were not even the fault of or related to Connections even though it affected Connections. Now I’m a bit behind in getting responses completed. I’ll respond to your email next.
