    I am hoping to use this plugin to feature a list of shops with upcoming sales, so sale dates would vary from a one-day event, to a weekend or week-long sale, or maybe even monthly specials. How might I customize the fields to accomplish this?

    Well, I’m sure something like this could be possible but I have not done anything close to it before so I really could not offer any specific advise. What I can say it this type of setup would have to have custom coded elements such as a date range custom field and a method to query entries based on those values.
