ParticipantHi Steve,
I’m encountering the same issues as some of the other folks.I’m trying to import the following file. The plug in is handling 63 records at a time and only importing first name and last name…and not picking up and importing the email addresses. I’ve done this twice and now have 126 incomplete records in the membership database. I’m keen to delete them and start over with your recommendation.
I need your help in sorting through what I’m missing.
Here’s the file – let me know if you want access to the wordpress site, firstparishcohasset.org
Thanks,

Have you referred to this FAQ. It has solutions that work for almost everyone.
I’ll email an very early alpha version of the next release of the CSV import that has worked for everyone even though it is very rough at the moment.

ParticipantHi Steven,
I’m importing a CSV comma delimited file of 625 contacts and have followed all the instructions, however, received this message below. How do I resolve this? Any thoughts?Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home2/wwbn/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 735
Thanks

The memory assigned to PHP is being exhausted. I recommend setting at least 128MB. Here’s a link to a post that has instructions for several ways to increase this setting.

ParticipantHi,
two questions:
I’ve imported, mapped, parsed and approved the files in the ‘manage’ section of the dashboard. But the files are not showing on the website under the sub tab ‘business directory’. What step have I missed.
Also, how do you change the State to Province, and the Zip to Postal Code, as I live in Canada?
Is there a complete documentation file somewhere that I’m not seeing.Thanks.
Deb.

The first question…
Did you put the Connections shortcode on the page? Take a look at Step 4 in the QuickStart.
To change the labels, you have a couple options.
One, you could try the suggestion posted by this user.Another option could be the Say What plugin. I can’t vouch for it because I haven’t tried it for myself yet. But I think it should work.

GuestI’ve the same problem. After pressing “import” I get the exhausted message, allthough I have 200 MB upload file size…

File upload size in nearly all cases would not have an affect on the import. See this FAQ for settings that will.
Please see my reply to your other post here. Since the alpha version does not rely on a form submission
