ParticipantHi I am trying to import a list of only 52 items using the CSV import.
I select the file, Map the fields, Import. Wait for import complete message and then goto the manage page and nothing. There are no new entries.
There are no errors during import.

The only time I see this happen is if another plugin is not limiting its javascript to its own admin pages (like it should) which cause fatal javascript errors which in turn prevent the code for doing an import from working.
If you can give me a temp WP admin account, a copy of the CSV file along with a screenshot of the correct mapping, I;’ll take a closer look.

Looking at the CSV file, it appears to be an CSV export of some WP post content… that’s fine, but I need to know how you mapped those fields to the Connections fields. Can you attach a screenshot of the mapping you used?
Also, there is at least one error that I saw with the CSV file, there is a “blank” column between
post_contentandpost_excerpt. This column should be removed or at the very least a column header added.11/09/2015 at 12:21 pm #354123Patrick Egan

I believe your CSV file is corrupt… I’ve opened it every way I could think of and it seems the wrong contents are in the categories and title columns but more imported there seems to be a text encoding issue which seems was an issue in the other file you attached too. You can see it throughout the file. One example
Ì¢‰â‰ã¢, another, look at row 51, Mario’s last name. What is the source of the CSV file?11/12/2015 at 10:44 am #354725Steven Zahm

Looking to see if I can close this… was this able to be resolved by fixing the source CSV file?
