GuestDear Steven,
I’m looking around and I’m wondering whether the premium themes can be styled using CSS?
Also, how long will it take until the custom fields be released?

Keymaster@ James
Sure, every template can be styles using CSS. Actually, that is exactly how each is styled. You can either choose to use CSS selectors that override the current style or alter the CSS files that come with the templates.
Custom fields, sorry, I can’t really say. I’ve put off some things because I’ve been focusing on a complete code clean / revamp the last six months with the goal to make Connections far more easily extensible. I’m still in the process of during that while adding new smaller features to the core of the plugin so I can’t even begin to give an eta, sorry.
I hope that helps!

GuestI have a question regarding the 30 days support after purchase.
Personally I am only doing this part time and I have limited knowledge in programming and I am not sure if I can finish my website in a month.1. What happens if I needed more than 30 days of support? Can I still ask questions in the support section?
2. Can connections be installed into xampp and still work fine?

Keymaster@ James
1. Sure, come here and ask. If I can, I’ll will definitely provide guidance and CSS examples of what to do.
2. Personally, I do dev work on a live server in a test partition so I’ve never tried using xampp. Really, I don’t see any reason why it would not work.

GuestMore question:
Is there a shortcode where it will display textfield and the submit button only?
I am planning to put the search textfield and submit button in the index page, where my visitors will do a search. The result however will appear in the search page.
If shortcode not available, is this do-able?

Keymaster@ James
There is no shortcode, sorry. However, this is very doable. The easiest would to be copy the
<form> ... </form>
output from the search widget from the Widget Pack and drop that in your page. -
