GuestHello,
I am sorry to bother you with this request as I am sure you have answered it hundreds of times. I have spent the last few hours trying to figure it out.
Last week you instructed me to upgrade adding the link and form extensions. Here is the purchase info.

490818

04/29/2019
$15.00
View Details and Downloads
Download Invoice
View Licenses
490570

04/25/2019
$19.99
View Details and Downloads
Download Invoice
View Licenses
490425

I have installed both but the forms would not accept the license that I copied from my purchase history.
three things:
- Do I have to create a username and password for all existing entries? Or can someone create a new login and it would match up with the email on an existing entry?
- How do you create a login where they can go to that page and enter their log in info.
- They way it reads, existing people (in my case, attorneys) cannot update existing entries. They can only create new ones.
I just want to have a way for an attorney to click on a login button and create a login that I would approve and then they could update all of their content, such as address, categories, website, etc…
Any documentation specific to that would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Do I have to create a username and password for all existing entries?
No, you do not.
RE: can someone create a new login and it would match up with the email on an existing entry?
Yes, when someone registers with an email address which matches an email of an existing entry they will be linked.
RE: How do you create a login where they can go to that page and enter their log in info.
You have two options:
- Use the default user registration page builtin into WordPress. For example
http://your-site.com/wp-login.php?action=register - Use a plugin that you can create your own registration pages. There are many freely available plugins.
RE: They way it reads, existing people (in my case, attorneys) cannot update existing entries. They can only create new ones.
Sure they can create an entry if they have not been linked to one.
RE: I just want to have a way for an attorney to click on a login button and create a login that I would approve and then they could update all of their content, such as address, categories, website, etc…
For user registration moderation, you’ll need to use a plugin. The better user registration plugins do provide moderation features.
I hope this thoroughly answers your questions.
