ParticipantI am trying to create a custom template. I have copied and renamed the Gridder Template but I am not getting the shortcode correct. Are there guidelines available for creating a custom template? I just want to change the Contact section so I thought I could create a custom template based on the Gridder template.
Thank you in advance for your help!

ParticipantI have made a few more modifications to the gridder.php and JS files so that it shows the template now and I can call the template. However, I can’t get the javascript to load…troubleshooting.

ParticipantOk, I solved my own problem. I just edited the name in the copied file and I am not using the original Gridder template. Thank you anyway!

Glad to hear you figure out a solution!
Here are a few links that may help you in the future. They explain how to create custom override template files as well as custom CSS/JS files that will load in addition to the core files automatically if found. Using these methods are update safe and depending on the changes a bit easier to implement than trying to create a whole custom template.
- Custom CSS for the core Connections plugin.
- Custom CSS/JS for the templates.
- Custom template override files.
Can you share a link to your directory page? I’d love to see it.
Also, if you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
