Did you somehow delete the Uncategorized category? That could break thing in quite unexpected ways. Please try deactivating and reactivating Connections. It should be recreated.
Let me know if that fixes it.

That would make sense. If your import failed in any way, then the required tables and data might not exist.

ParticipantI’m receiving this same error message. I have tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin as well as deleting it and reinstalling it and I’m still receiving the same error.
Thanks for your help.

Did you do a “normal” install? ie, you added a New Plugin and in the WP admin or was this part of some migration from one server to another?
Does the “Uncategorized” category exist?

GuestYes, this is a normal install on a newly created site (WP 4.2.1) and not a migration. The “Uncategorized” category does not exist nor can I add it.
I also restored the site from back-up from the day before (before I installed Connections). That didn’t work either.
Thanks.

GuestAlso, I received an email from the host for this site (WP Engine):
“This email was generated from the WP Engine ‘TimThumb Scanner’ application. We’ve updated the version of the TimThumb script in account ‘[xxxx]’.
— Found version 2.8.14 ../wp content/plugins/connections/vendor/timthumb/timthumb.php
– Replaced with 2.8.13.1It has been updated to the most recent stable version, for your security, and ours. Learn more about it here, http://wpengine.com/2011/11/timthumb-script-scanner/.”

Ha, funny, in an ironic sort of way! They “updated” TimThumb to an older version. And a version that contains a security vulnerability at that! Well, 2.8.13 had the vulnerability. That trailing
.1… maybe that’s a version that they patched themselves. At any rate Connections no longer requires that file at all. It hasn’t for a while now. It is only left in for backwards compatibility.I’d like to see that PHP error. You can post it here as a private reply or send it using the Contact link at the bottom of the page. Please paste a link to this forum thread in the message so I can relate the two. Thanks!
