Is there any way to get the contact name to show on the category page on organization/business mode?
Sorry, not sure I understand. Could you provide more details or maybe a screenshot of a mockup to help illustrate the question?
Ah. On Gridder templates main page, when you click to open dropdown, it shows Organization on top, email and description. Is there anyway to add the contact name somewhere in the dropdown?
If order to make this change you will have to edit the the template’s
card.php file found here:
Add this line of code where you want the contact name to be displayed:
<?php if ( $atts['show_contact_name'] ) $entry->getContactNameBlock( array( 'format' => $atts['contact_name_format'] , 'label' => $atts['str_contact'] ) ); ?>
Save the altered file in the folder as explained in this tutorial on custom template override files.
After you have done this, you will very likely have to adjust the template’s CSS so it will be displayed properly. To learn about custom CSS files for templates, refer to this tutorial.
If you need assistance with this, I do provide custom development services.
Hope this answers your question thoroughly!
