ParticipantFor some reason, my contact pages that were working on Friday are blank today. Even stranger is that any page with the Connections shortcode no longer shows the WordPress admin toolbar at the top when logged in (see attached). Any ideas? I’m attaching a screenshot of the shortcode as well.

Have you updated WordPress, theme or any other plugins? If you did that might have cause some sort of conflict. As a guess, it appears the memory allocated to PHP is being exhausted. Here’s an excellent post that lists several methods to increase the memory allocation. Which method that works will depend entirely on the web host. I suggest starting at the top and working your way down.
I hope that helps, let me know!

GuestI checked all the pluggins (disabled everything but connections), followed the memory-increasing ideas with no change, and then remembered a notice that the php engine was upgraded over the weekend to php 5.4 – could that be it? I was able to go back to 5.2 to test, and still didn’t work, but maybe there is a cause in there.
Thanks again for any ideas. If you could direct me to the pluggin install requirements, I could go back through and check everything.

Connections will work fine within any PHP version from 5.2.4 to current, so a PHP update should not have any effect. I actually dev Connections on PHP 5.4.15.
The thing with setting the PHP memory is, it can be set to anything and PHP will happily report the memory limit being set and not report that the host could have a hard limit set. Maybe when they performed the update, they accidently changed that hard limit. Unfortunately they only way to know is to ask their support.
Could you also check the PHP error log? Maybe something will be in there that will shed light on the issue.
