ParticipantI’m running WordPress 4.9.5 and as soon as I have Connections Widgets activated, the WordPress Customizer does not load.
Can this bug be reviewed urgently? It’s stopping me being able to use Connections at all.

ParticipantI’ve just seen some other issues relating to this, so have tried increasing the memory limit, but that hasn’t resolved the issue. Any other ideas on how I can debug?

ParticipantAnd reading further, I’ve added another widget and it loads properly. Have deleted that widget and it still loads properly. Seems like it’s still very much related to your plugin though. Would be great if this can be reviewed so I can have confidence that it’s not going to keep happening.
Thanks!

I’ve read your posts… am I understanding correctly that this is not working correctly for you?

The widgets are one of the mostly commonly used addons but receive the fewest questions / support issues so they are fairly robust. My best guess is was that the memory allocated to PHP was being exhausted and it took a little time for the web host server to implement the change you made. It is not always instant. The Customizer, in my experience, can be a little resource intensive, especially with larger complex themes. The resources required for the Connections widgets are very minimal but perhaps it was just enough to push it over the edge.
Let me know if you are still experiencing the issue, I’m sure I can resolve it quickly if you are. Let me know.
