PLEASE, PLEASE can we have some more customation on the Connections Categories Widget. For instance – if you drag this widget into a side bar – it simply displays all categories, even empty ones and also the number after. It would be great if we could choose what was displayed and to choose whether we want empty categroies to view like you can with the shortcodes. The only way round is to not use the widget at all – use Visual composer to create a right column and then use shortcodes to display the connections categories… it’s long and labourious – please fix. It would also be great if we could display certain listings in a rolling slider or display featured listings.

I have a directory listing of care homes and some are featured – and would be great to display those like featured ads for instance. I can do it via shortcodes – but not randomly – I have to choose which ones specifically – fine if there are only 2 or 3 – but when you have 20 – it means that the top 3 always show on the first page and the rest are hiden on page turns.

Sounds like you are using a pretty old version of the Widget Pack. I’m guessing 1.0 based on the purchase date. The current version is 2.2 which has nearly everything you’ve asked for … no randomization option.

Since your support license is expired, you’ll have to renew it, at a discount, in order to download the update. You can renew your support license and download the the update from your purchase history page.
