Hi,
Looking at the documentation for the [connections] shortcode i don’t see anything that limits the number of items displayed. How can i set a maximum number of records displayed by this shortcode?
@ Shanna
You can use the limit
option. For example add limit=10
to the existing shortcode to limit that instance to only 10 entries. Please be aware that this is not pagination, it only limits the list to a specific number of entries. If you are looking for pagination support, then you’ll need one of the premium templates.
Hope this helps.
Thanks :)
Maybe you should put that in the shortcode documention…
@ Shanna
I use to have it on the shortcode doc page a few years ago but it always lead to the support questions on why it was not paginating (which is not what it does) even with notices on the page saying such. Since I removed it, I think this is the first time I’ve been asked about it.
