I am trying to update from 8.38.1 to 8.41.2 and it completely removes Connections Business DIrectory with C-Map when i update. Is there a solution to this i am not sure what is going on.
@ william
Could you provide more details such as error messages being displayed (top of plugin admin page / the Connections plugin row) and what exactly you mean by “completely removes Connections Business DIrectory with C-Map“?
thats just it there is no error message or any details, when i update Connections is completely removed from my dashboard. If you can tell me some other place to find error messages for it i will. I admittedly do not have a lot of experience with this.
@ william
On the plugins admin page, is the Connections Business Directory plugin still shown? If it is, is it activated? Can you please attached a screenshot of the Plugins admin page?
Connections Business Directory is gone from my plugin page after the update, the only thing that stays is the C-Map template.
@ william
The only thing I can think of is the WordPress is failing to apply the update for some reason. The odd thing is WP does not delete the current version until the new has been downloaded and unzipped and ready to replace the existing version files.
So, this sounds like a WP failure …

Ok do you want me to leave the site as is, with connections pro deleted or revert back to one of my backups so that you can see what it does during update?
@ william
Either way will do.

It is a temp account, use any fake email address.
