connections_listshortcode was deprecated a little over two years ago and finally removed in the latests version of Connections ( versions >= 0.8 ).
connections. After you do that, the directory will display again.
Hope that helps!06/05/2014 at 5:15 pm #293112NickGuest
That fixed it – thank you!06/16/2014 at 5:46 pm #294017MartinGuest
After the recent update my Connections page gives an error message which I think is related to the custom template folder (wp-content/connections-templates). Nothing works, I have been forced to reinstall the previous version of Connections. Any clue?

Sorry, no, not without more details on the error message. I could be as simple as just visiting the Connections : Templates admin page or toggling the active template so the path to the template that is cached is updated.06/23/2014 at 6:37 am #294810MartinGuest
Thanks for your reply. Still does not work. Here’s the error message it gives on the page containing the Connections shortcode:
Fatal error: Call to a member function download() on a non-object in /home/ceatlmemb/domains/ceatl-members.eu/public_html/wp-content/connections_templates/card/template.php on line 3206/23/2014 at 10:50 am #294821
Looks you may have customized an much older version of the default card template judging by the path and filename in the error message. To keep your customizations, the solution is to open this file and delete line 32:
The alternative solution is to delete your custom template and use the version that comes with Connections.
The issue is the that
$vcard->download()function was removed long ago and backward support for it was removed in version >= 0.8. Oh another solution would be to use
$entry->vcard()on line 32.
Hope that helps!06/23/2014 at 1:40 pm #294842MartinGuest
Yes! I changed the code on line 32 into $entry->vcard() and it works. Thanks a lot!
