    I am going to implement a membership system for my clients, something like Paid Memberships Pro – but we also need a directory. Does this tie into the WP User system, so each member could have a directory listing?

    Yes, you’ll need the Link extension and, optionally, the Form extension if you would like to add frontend editing.
