ParticipantOn my wordpress dashboard i am getting this:
NOTICE: The connections-images folder does not exist. Read more.I have deactivated and reactivated. I have confirmed that the wp-content/uploads has the /connections-images folder and have set the permissions to 755 and also tried 767.
However, i still have the NOTICE on the dashboard and the images on the live site are not showing up.
Please advise.

Try this… login into the site with FTP and delete the
connections-images
folder. Create it again and then set the permissions. Does that correct the issue? If not, you might have to contact the web host to ask them why the folder is not readable.02/06/2018 at 2:26 pm #450274Mary Lou Baily
Participantby deleting the images folder will this delete all the images? will we need to reupload the images again? Thank you.

Oh, I did not know you had images uploaded already. So, no, do not delete the folder.
So, this was working correctly, yes? If it was, what has changed? Which plugin have been installed or updated when it stopped working? Any security plugins? Did the web host do any upgrades on your account? Did you make any changes to your .htaccess file? If you did, what were they?

ParticipantWe changed to a Managed WordPress host, and since we did that it stopped working. Perhaps i need to contact our web host to see why this isn’t working now.

Since it is managed host… they might need to “unlock” the folder so it is readable. Which host?
