ParticipantHi Steve
Please can you send through a link to all Connections Form Shortcodes. I want to edit fields in the form. ie change “Category” to “Province” and “select a category” to “select a province”. I also want to change in the address panel “State” to “Province” and “Zip Code” to “Post Code”. There will probably be a few others but once I get the idea I’ll be able to do them if I know the shortcode options.
I also noticed that when I did a test submission on the form the entry was automatically submitted to the site. Not sure why.
Thanks for a great bundle of plugins and extensions. Just need to get my head round it all.

ParticipantFor the second part of your question that was answered to me: “Please log out of your site and then test a submission thru Form … all submissions will be sent to the moderation queue. When you submit an entry while logged in, you are adding an entry with the same permissions as if you were submitting a new entry using the admin.” You have to have the form checked to require login for this to happen

Thanks for taking the time to answer a question!!!
@ karikirch
To answer your first question … there are no shortcodes for Form to change those strings, however, they can still be changed quite easily. Take a look at this QuickTip. Let me know if you need any additional help with this.

ParticipantHi Steve
I have installed the “Say What” plugin but it doesn’t appear to work. I followed the instructions you sent. Any pointers would be great. Thanks for your support.

I just tested each string you wanted to change, it works as expected. What version of Connections and Form do you have installed?
Original Text Domain Replacement Category connections_form Province Select Category connections Select a Province State connections Province Zipcode connections Post Code

And you are using the exact strings I outline in my previous reply? Capitalization and spacing are very very important, they must match exactly.

ParticipantHere is a screen shot of what I would be adding to the Say What plugin. Click on Add New and nothing happens. Wondering now if this is a possible plugin conflict with my theme?

It can not be a conflict with the theme as the Say What plugin filters text at the WP core level. As long as the plugin is coded to be translation ready it should work.
Are you using any page caching plugins such as W3 Total Cache? If you are, try clearing the page cache.
