GuestI recently returned my basic wordpress intranet site which I haven’t update in a couple of years. I took the plunge and started updating both the base site and the plugins and this has resulted in my Connections directory failing to load.
Instead of the connections entries, I just get the first entry in a small non-hyperlinked text and the categories fail to load. Please help

Since this is an intranet I can really only give you guesses…
Make sure you have at least PHP 5.3 installed on your intranet server. WordPress recommends 7.2, but that was just released and not all plugins are compatible yet, so I recommend PHP 7.1
Make sure WordPress is up to date.
Try increasing the memory allocated to PHP.
Lastly, do the conflict checks:
Let me know what your learn.

Thank you. I updated PHP but that did not seem to make a difference. I did work out the issue after coming at the problem with fresh eyes today. When I updated Connections, it had not applied a Template and with the template option blank, the directory would not load.
I still need to work out why the alpha index doesn’t work but I’m sure that as I play around with the updated system, I’ll work out the kinks.
Thank again, this has proven a very helpful plugin.12/22/2017 at 10:03 am #445014Steven Zahm

What was the issue? How does the alpha index not work?
