ParticipantHi,
I recently installed both the Connections and Tile Plus plugins into my WordPress install on GoDaddy. It seemed to install just fine. I uploaded about 25 contacts. Everything loads fine except that the whole site is running very slowly whenever it tries to access the database. But now, the Connections and Tile Plus plugins are deactivating themselves. I reload the web page and the admin Plugin screen a few times and I eventually get this message on the Admin screen:
The plugin connections/connections.php has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.
The plugin tile-plus/tile-plus.php has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.
Then both plugins are deactivated. I’ve already gone in and removed the extra lines following the comment marks in the php, but this is still happening. Any idea on how to fix this? You can see the plugin here: http://jamsdeals.com/contact-us/
It’s a really small site right now – 3 pages. Contact Us uses Tile Plus. News is the blog. Home is a Page. WordPress is 3.5.1 on GoDaddy. PHP 5.
Thanks!

I was just at you site hitting it from 3 different browsers all at the same time, I’d say every time, no matter the category chosen the page loaded in less than a second with no errors.

ParticipantThanks for checking, Steven. Has anyone else ever had the invalid header problem? I just tried on FF and it easily took 5 seconds. On Chrome it took about the same. I might try a reinstall of WP and see if that helps.

Maybe it only occurs when your logged in???
Nope never has happened to anyone, ever, at least reported to me.
The plugin header is the standard bit of text that has to be at the top of every plugin for WordPress to recognize that the file is a plugin. If the header is not there, the plugin can be loaded. If it is removed after a plugin is activated, WordPress will deactivate the plugin.
