I get a white screen when I want to edit my home page and have to turn off the Connections plugin and then turn it back on after editing. I updated to the latest version but got a fatal error when I tried to go into my home page. Turned off the plugin made my changes and turned it back on. It does effect editing on any of the other pages when turned on.
It sounds like the memory allocated to PHP is being exhausted. Try increasing the max limit. Here’s an excellent blog post that outlines several methods to increase the limit. I suggest starting at the top and working your way down. Which method that will work will depend on your webhost.
Hope that helps! Let me know, thanks!
