We want to display the Notes field and location category in the middle of the consultant card. We are using the Cmap template …..

Please screenshot this was customised long time ago for the same client. We want the notes fields and only location category assigned to the entry to be displayed on the card.

We will disable the show/close tab for the notes if we can achieve this.

Sorry, I am not sure what you are asking for. I took a look at the page in the screenshot and the customizations you are asking for already seem to be done. I’m a little confused , could you please provide more details?

This was done on the previous consultant directory and not the current one. Please see the current consultant directory here ;-

Ok, I see. Probably the easiest thing to do is copy the code changes from the card.php file on the site you wish to mimic. The file will be found in this path:

../wp-content/plugins/connections-cmap/

It is possible they instead used a template override file, which you should use for these changes. So the changes may exist in a card/php file in one of the paths listed in the dev tutorial.

Hi Steven,

I had a look into the card.php file, but wasn’t sure if anything was different to the current Version of connections?

I’m not sure what changes those developers made to the older version of connection to be able to display the speciality field on the centre of cmap card.

Is there any easier way to do this? Something I can do if you pass me some code and I can add it to the template maybe ?

You need to compare the two versions of the card.php file. They are mostly similar.

It appears you need to move the $entry->getBioBlock(); line of code and that’s all. The Works from bit appears to be just the address block which is already in that location shown in the screenshot.

These instructions are just my best guess as it is impossible to know the exact changes that were made. This why you need to compare the changes.
